flixster f 08/19/2014 Based on real events, the movie is a passable fare for those not knowing enough about the 1992 securities scam allegedly engineered by Harshad Mehta, and are curious to uncover the story behind it. However, the movie is fictionalized, and here Mr. Mehta has been portrayed in quite a positive light. It's a simple story with average performances. Go for it if you find the subject interesting. 6.5/10. See more 12/13/2009 Spoiler alert : this movie is based on the life of Harshad Mehta. Only difference is that he is made out to be a hero and according to the storyline there were external sources who were responsible for the situation and who did him in. See more 06/26/2009 I almost forgot to rate this movie. It is one of the best movies filmed in bollywood. Way ahead then those choclatey sharukh's movie. The movie is based on 1992 sensex scam by Harshad Mehta. (and Ketan Parekh following his footsteps later making another scam in 2000 with his K-10 scripts) A person with intrest in stock market will definitely like this movie. n if you like this one then I would recommend you another movie 'wall street' based on 1985 NYSE scam.
