This decades long Trek fan thinks this is one of the best Star Trek movies ever. Each character is so well done and is a great match for another in the Trek universe. The villain is appropriately evil. The people attending the convention are spot on. And, as an Aliens fan, I love Sigourney Weaver’s line “ducts. Why is it always ducts?” Great movie to watch on a rainy day or if you just need to cheer up!

This just might be the best parody ever made. It perfectly spoofs and takes inspiration from Star Trek. The cast is excellent, the effects aren't half bad for 1999, and the humor is on point. And Alan Rickman's performance as a fed-up grump is wonderful.
