This movie pulls you in, and holds a strong grip until the end. Extremely well acted. I highly recommend this movie!!! One of the best movies I've seen this year. Even for those who don't prefer subtitles, this movie will still pull you in!

Gangs of Lagos really exceeded my expectations, and it might be the best thing to come out of the recent string of streaming studios pushing "Nollywood" content. The cinematography is just gorgeous, and while the plot might be nothing special, the script is very engaging. It's so good, I might have shed a tear or two. A must-see for indigenous movie lovers!

Poor cinematography. Poor acting. Terrible fight scenes. Saved from a zero! Because of yet another outstandingly accurate dipiction of a socialist country. True equality gained by making everyone equally poor. 10 out of 10 for that.
