Alan Boon Starburst A typical but decent shoujo anime, which should delight the tween crowd. The older viewer may still find enjoyment in the show, but if your time and money are limited there are far better options to spend both on. Feb 4, 2019 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member Very appropriate to start their own feature film. The dub version by Nelvana was pretty decent at the times. The new characters were amazing, especially one that was never appeared in TV. I grew up with that first movie and I say I love both the subs and dub version which I actually own it and hang it to my room, because why? I cannot live without the one Cardcaptor Sakura movie that was ever made before the sequel. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Audience Member The seasons were good, and so is this movie. :-) Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/12/23 Full Review jon c for 2002: the popular anime TV series makes its first feature film it thankfully follows the spirit of the show and I'm glad they didn't change too much half the time they do what they want when adapting a property such as this I think the film has a good story taking place in between the first two seasons; Sakura goes to Hong Kong but unaware that she is being lured into a trap by an old enemy of Clow Reed's the animation feels very movie-like, the voice dubbing is balanced, the action scenes are beautifully drawn and the emotion is not too heavy-handed I'm glad Sakura doesn't have to face this new evil all by herself, Li, Madison, Mei-Lin and Kero guide her to solve the mystery of the approaching danger that lies ahead the filmmakers also get to use a decent number of the Clow Cards and introduce a few new characters such as Li's mother who holds great power to aid Sakura in her adventure there's a bit of the traditional comedy that the show utilized so cleverly, too it's a good translation of the TV series Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member My Lebenslangerschicksalsschatz of movie!!!!!!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/14/23 Full Review Audience Member Why can't she see that Syaoran is the one for her?
