Jim Paulsen (Marshall Thompson) is a single American pilot who enjoys a peaceful life residing in mountainous Switzerland. Unfortunately, his laid-back lifestyle is thrown into chaos when he inherits a massive St. Bernard dog named George from his responsibility-shirking sister, who is getting remarried and isn't willing to keep the large canine.
