It was cool, but I didn't like how when the characters said stuff, there mouths didn't move. George and A.J was an okay short. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 09/25/23 Full Review Audience Member Could of done at least better animation… Rated 3 out of 5 stars 08/10/23 Full Review jacob b Not really necessary. The set-up is kinda funny and this is likely the closest we'll get to an answer as to how Russell stowed away in the film when he was initially nowhere to be found when the house took off (it's a background gag, guys) but were these two really need a short film? They only show up in the first act and are never seen again once Carl's house takes off. A short film focusing on those two janitors from Monsters Inc. would've made more sense. This isn't really worth raking through the coals over. George & A.J. is just a cheaply-animated short film whose premise is built around one joke and would be at the bottom of my Pixar short rankings if it weren't for the fact that, in some respects, it technically isn't a Pixar short. Most notably for the fact that it isn't computer-animated. Hard to believe that this was from the same director as Toy Story 4. Well, we've all gotta start from somewhere.
