See more 11/02/2021 Pixar's first project to actually star a human, predating The Incredibles by 7 years, Geri's Game offers subtle, yet effective changes in animation that offer major improvements from Pixar's last few humans whilst also offering a story that's simple, funny and, when you think about it, actually a bit sad. Seeing that Jan Pinkava directed this, it makes me wonder what his version of Ratatouille would've been like and if it would've been directed in a similar manner as this short had he not been replaced by Brad Bird once the studio lost faith in a member of their own in-house talent.
