Molly Henery The Blogging Banshee Get Away is a blend of folk horror, comedy, and violent thrills that takes audiences on a goofy, bloody trip. Rated: 7/10 Oct 23, 2024 Full Review Kate Sánchez But Why Tho? A Geek Community A thriller-comedy with a bit of bite, the execution of the third act turn may be slightly too quick, but the payoff is fun mayhem all the same Rated: 7.5/10 Oct 7, 2024 Full Review Steven Prokopy Third Coast Review Get Away is far from perfect, but it has at least one major tonal shift that I can’t wait for people to see, and Frost and company are particularly convincing... Rated: 2.5/4 Oct 3, 2024 Full Review Trace Thurman Bloody Disgusting Get Away gets by on the charms of its cast and an overall sense of demented glee, but it never aspires to be anything other than a frequently amusing diversion. Rated: 3/5 Oct 1, 2024 Full Review Sean Boelman FandomWire The horror-comedy Get Away proves that Frost has the juice it takes to carry a film, even if the script (which he also wrote) is a bit underdeveloped. Rated: 5/10 Sep 27, 2024 Full Review Matt Donato Collider Get Away is a deceptive blast that properly exploits vacationer stereotypes to conceal vastly more wicked intentions.
