Audience Member Unfortuneately the disc was all battered from the library so wasn't able to see the end. Summary: City girls' dad dies, he leaves her (Wendy Crewson) a ranch, and she chooses to stay and try running it on her own. She hires a ranch-hand (Paul Gross), enter romantic lead... plenty of sweaty man/woman on the ranch scenes, cowboy hat tipping and(thankfully) some walking away from the camera/ ass shots. Some complications when a "proposal" is made (and sorry, terrible acting by her mother), and it does actually get interesting. Wish I could've seen how it ends... but I can guess. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review Audience Member This movie is set in Canada about a rancher's daughter that has moved to the big city and when her father dies, she comes back to the ranch. She wants to try to make a go of the ranch and hires a guy she went to school with as a ranch hand to help with the ranch. The ranch hand is from an imigrant family which does things the old fashioned way. They strike up a deal to get married and run the ranch together. From there everything goes a little strange when the two families start to bargain this marriage deal. There are some other little twists and turns in this story too that make it quite interesting. But there is a happy ending when they actually do fall in love and get married in Buffalo Jump, the small town they live near. Very well worth watching! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/16/23 Full Review Audience Member Very sweet movie, and a terribly hot Paul Gross. I'll pretty much watch it whenever it's on TV. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/11/23 Full Review Audience Member This is my most favorite movie. Not sure why. Paul Gross is great of course but I like the idea of an unlikely romance. I think I identify with the female lead. Wanting to be practical but hoping for romance Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/23/23 Full Review Audience Member not outstanding by a long shot but sweet and gooey with full backal nudity so there ya go. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/23/23 Full Review Audience Member OK. The movie? sucked. But the Pretty? Oh my freaking god. So much damn pretty.
