Ronnie M 10/17/2024 Fantastic nostalgic fun. Doesn't disappoint. See more 10/29/2021 "My dear brother seems frightened. As he should be. And all men." An old unmarried famous playwright, his fabulous male secretary, and a top stage actor are stranded at a mansion during a terrible thunderstorm. The trio are visiting with the mansion's owner, a doctor, when they learn he already had other guests including a patient of his, a hot young thang and possible murderess. Spooky events start to occur after the woman attempts to convene with her dead husband, but is there another motive for the strange goings-on? The plot is multilayered and acts very much like a stage play; it is a lesser "old dark house" film, but still fun with good dialogue and the right amount of scares. See more dennis f 04/27/2013 I loved this movie - a fun movie to watch once in a while - Johnny Arthur is fantastic - and I loved the rest of the cast also - of course a bit of nonsense - "why did they do that?" - sleeping in unlocked rooms after a murder - but fun - See more 02/05/2012 another old film i like."i'd like to give you the thrashing you deserve....." tops.it still makes me laugh when he's combing his hair, hears a scream and throws his brush in the air.
