Mr D This was a good movie, especially if you liked the first movie. It was great to see everyone from the first movie. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 05/01/24 Full Review Duane It was brain candy. Nice nods to the original. The script and the plot were a bit flat. It was an OK movie. Probably best to wait and watch it at home. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 04/29/24 Full Review Courtland H Brought it back to the original concept... Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 04/28/24 Full Review carydavis If you liked Ghostbusters Afterlife, you will probably enjoy Frozen Empire. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 04/28/24 Full Review Glenn C Nice enough. I liked the actors. But the movie was pretty slow, without enough action scenes. Too many characters with all the character building they require kept the action pretty limited. Doesn't approach the original. Nice to see the old crew again. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 04/28/24 Full Review Jax Shepherd This movie was a complete let down it had so much potential and it was super slow and it didnt really make sense. The moral didnt make sense and the very end just felt like just too easy if that makes sense. And they also wasted good lore for a dumb joke that could have been a good character development point. I think the last ghostbuster was way better than this one but the very first ghostbuster is definitely the goat of ghostbusters. Rafer Guzman Newsday After so many mishandled or abandoned series — from “Fantastic Beasts” to “Narnia” to “Percy Jackson” — it’s nice to see one that’s heading in the right direction. Rated: 3/4 Apr 8, 2024 Full Review Wenlei Ma The Nightly (AU) Until Ghostbusters decides if it wants to throw its lot in with one era or the other, it’s always going to be between two worlds. And that purgatory makes for a middling experience that doesn’t quite satisfy. Rated: 2.5/5 Apr 1, 2024 Full Review Jack Riedy Chicago Reader This newest franchise entry is built on nostalgia and a stacked cast, but not enough to make it worth watching. Mar 30, 2024 Full Review Neil Soans The Times of India Although rich with potential, the film is a mishmash of fan service, underdeveloped characters, and underwhelming humour. Rated: 3/5 Apr 30, 2024 Full Review Paul Salfen AMFM Magazine Ghostbusters was a huge movie for many people and brought a lot of joy with every repeated viewing. It was fun, fresh, quotable, and a joy to watch. This is none of those things. Rated: 4/10 Apr 19, 2024 Full Review David Nusair Reel Film Reviews ...the picture begins its slow-but-steady descent into irrelevance as it progresses into a meandering and distressingly uninvolving midsection...
