This movie was great, I really enjoyed the first one and was surprised by this one being better. I would recommend this to everyone who asks me to recommend them a movie. The stop-motion parts were amazing and the puppets looked great. The only bad part was it didn't last 50 hours because I need more of this movie. By the way it had a kill count of 9

3.5/5. I was pleasantly surprised by Ghoulies 2. It was everything the first movie should have been: a fun Gremlins rip off. The setting is great and there are a bunch of fun moments. The acting sucks and the kills are lackluster, but this is a solid b-movie.

Ghoulies II is the fun that the first movie should have been. "Good" might be too strong a word for this one, but it's a definite course correction for the series, 'cause unlike the first Ghoulies, I actually enjoyed my time with this one.

Turns the critter action up to eleven in an all-around fun carnival horror show. This is a cheesy schlock horror film, and it doesn't try to be anything else. It's made to be entertaining and it succeeds.

The majority of the cast are plain awful, the plot is paper thin, there aren't actually any real scares, and the dialogue is embarrassing, but at least there's Ghoulies with guns.
