See more 11/02/2016 Funny like early SNL. Gilda the Great. See more 03/21/2011 Just like SNL! But without the other cast members! Seriously, watch the first five seasons on DVD, as this is just sad. Within the context of the show, Radner's characters were fine, but on stage, they lack the urgency and unpredictability of live TV. What we have with Gilda Live is a certain staleness or sense of safety, which is unfortunate, as many of her careers were funny on the small screen before their last hurrah here.
