Montgomery M Man, I really didnt enjoy this film at all. It doesnt have any of what makes the first movie so good which is the sisters, Brigette and Ginger, and the dark humor. This movie is just uncomfortable, bleak, and feels so gross. Not a fan Rated 2 out of 5 stars 09/12/23 Full Review Eddie W Possibly one of the only films franchises I'd say that has a better sequel. More action packed and gory than the original Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/07/23 Full Review Rogue 5 It is nice that they gave us a reason for a sequel but it did not hit the same as the first one did. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 10/29/22 Full Review Kyle H no where near as good as the first film but still hits the nostalgic feels Rated 3 out of 5 stars 10/25/22 Full Review Audience Member 8/10 a great sequel. awesome effects and a great finale. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/24/23 Full Review justin t I thought that this was an excellent sequel. It had its moments of comedy and a few moments of fear. The story was interesting and diverse and especially towards the end it managed to evolve slightly into something unexpected. There were moments where it was predictable although the meanders at the end were totally not foreseen. My only gripe would be that Ginger died at the end of the last film and so was not properly in this one. I loved the Ginger character in the last film and she was missed. This is a good sequel although like most sequels it fails to surpass the original. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Dennis Harvey Variety Keeps most cliches at bay. Sep 23, 2007 Full Review Geoff Pevere Toronto Star A worthy sequel to a cut-above horror movie. Rated: 3/5 Jan 30, 2004 Full Review Liam Lacey Globe and Mail If Ginger Snaps II: Unleashed feels a bit scattered and the humour self-congratulatory, at least the performances never flag. Rated: 2.5/4 Jan 30, 2004 Full Review Sarah Wenk Common Sense Media Dreadful. Absolutely inappropriate for kids. Rated: 1/5 Jan 2, 2011 Full Review Felix Vasquez Jr. Cinema Crazed Driven by good performances especially from Perkins who exposes her pure acting ability. Rated: 2.5/4 Apr 29, 2009 Full Review Maitland McDonagh TV Guide First-time screenwriter Megan Martin avoids the trap of simply rehashing the first film with new characters, instead crafting a very dark fairy tale.
