While “Girl in the Picture” doesn’t skip over any salacious details, it also doesn’t let its villain define what the story is about. Instead, Borgman brings Floyd’s victims back to life, by giving a voice to those who miss them.

What sets this documentary apart from others like it for me is its coherent and haunting narrative, its focus on bringing the victim and their story to light rather than the perpetrator and their crimes, and the mixture of hope and horror laced throughout. I will always remember this story. Truly a masterpiece. Skye Borgman, you've done it again!
