Alec B Hugely influential both in how it utilizes a low budget and the narrative. Great time capsule-y portrayal of NYC as a twenty-something in the late 70's. Very blatantly an influence on Lena Dunham's stuff, but lightyears more palatable. And awesome to see Christopher Guest and Bob Balaban so young!
