Audience Member Two brothers, Bob Hope and Jack Whiting, are both in love with the same woman, Betty Grable, and intend to marry her after returning from the Navy. Silly little comedy, but Hope if his usual charming self and Betty Grable is quite winning as the object of their desires. I really haven't seen Grable in much, but I liked her quite a lot and will have to check her out in some other movies. She may be another actress like Hedy Lamarr, who was wildly popular in her day, but is now slowly being forgotten having not appeared in many "classic" films. However, Grable does have some minor classics, like "How to Marry a Millionaire" and "The Gay Divorcee," but she doesn't have any real masterpieces in her filmography. But this film was quite enjoyable, if not a classic. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Another teaming of Hope and Raye finds Bob trying a little too hard to put the humor over. Still, good clean fun. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/20/23 Full Review Audience Member Delightful comedy musical with a very funny Martha Raye and Bob Hope as well. The peppy musical sequences are a plus, very enjoyable and highly entertaining. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Read all reviews
