In England, Belinda Warren (Kay Francis) falls in love and has an affair with married aristocrat Robert Melford (Patric Knowles), who refuses to leave his invalid wife, Rosamund (Frieda Inescort). Belinda gives birth to Robert's son, but unable to raise the child alone, lets Robert take him. Belinda flees to America where, in time, she marries a kind businessman, Jim Baker (George Brent). Years later, still pining for the life she could have had with Robert, Belinda meets the Melfords again.

It is about an American lawyer's wife is reunited with her child and his father. Kay Francis and George Brent give decent performances. The screenplay is a little slow in places. Archie Mayo did an alright job directing this movie. I liked this motion picture because of the drama and romance. See more Read all reviews
