P. H I've watched a sh*load of movies on Premium Cable. Some bad, but mostly good, but this movie had no reviewer stars on TMC. So I came here to Rotten Tomatoes. The first few viewer reviews did not like this movie at all. Other reviewers did like it. I almost deleted this DVR recording without watching because of the negative reviews. Did not want to waste 1 1/2 hours watching another sh*tty movie (i.e., "Everything Everywhere All At Once," or "Beau Is Afraid," etc.), but this was a really decent film. I'm glad I didn't erase this DVR recording. I really liked the undertones of esoteric "mysticism" even if it didn't always make sense. Could have had a better ending, but I liked it anyway. Good characters. Good actors. Decent script. Interesting cinematography. I recomend watching G.O.D. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 07/01/24 Full Review Eileen L I didn't like this journey of self discovery for the main character, whose name I can't even remember. This was on NXT on Showtime. It was supposed to be a science-fiction movie, but turned out to be a horrible commentary on self-discovery after the main character keeps seeing his wife and remembering his wife. It is further clouded by a mystery man, whose name I can't remember, and a hat, trying to help the character find his way. The main good character is the barkeep "Bossman" and fellow assassin whose name I can't remember even though I just watch the movie just to let you know I'm not shallow I do have an MA in English, but this is not making me call this movie. "Meh!" Rated 2 out of 5 stars 07/23/23 Full Review Courtney K it started off strong & i really like the concept, but it did lose my attention; eventually found it to be a bit boring so i missed some of what happened. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 07/12/23 Full Review Keller T Boring, slow paced, stunk worse than my breath. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/16/23 Full Review Cheryl H Great movie finally something with a new subject. Loved the main actor Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 12/11/22 Full Review Audience Member G.O.D. is a thoughtful and profound Sci-Fi thriller. Addison Henderson commands the screen and is a star in the making. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/04/23 Full Review Read all reviews
