Bruce McCabe Boston Globe It's a funny documentary that plays with your moods so skillfully that before you know it you have stopped laughing and have become touched by a poignance that the beginning of the film had in no way prepared you for. Apr 28, 2018 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member My 9-year old son and I watched this together and laughed out loud for the full running time. Gizmo was joyful for two reasons: Watching well -intentioned inventors introduce their inventions only to watch them, in real-time, fail in front of the newsreel cameras in a spectacular fashion and the priceless bonding experience of laughing for such a long period with my son. This film is too universally timeless humor that should be available on a DVD. It's a comedy treasure. Please, whoever owns the rights, please consider offering it for sale again in a more universal format than VHS. ---JoyPebble Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/15/15 Full Review Audience Member Genial! Una muestra motivante del ingenio y trabajo humano . Súper divertida!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review Audience Member This is just one of those mindless things you can watch over and over. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/24/23 Full Review Audience Member Awesome footage from many many decades ago. Some awesome pieces of history and creativity in this one. Only problem was it wasn't so much a documentary as it was just a reel of home made videos by some of our first inventors. Got a little boring halfway through and although the inventions on screen were entertaining it wasn't enough to keep me super interested. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review Read all reviews
