Audience Member The movie is plagued with poor pacing, amateur editing and pointless montages. But the major issue its how the story its relegated to second plain in order to develop only Sergio and gloria being that its major sin. The character of sergio is portrayed irrealistically scummy so much it devalues the real events because in the movie looks way to ridiculous. Sadly the portrayal of gloria suffers the most because of that she ends up under developed and looking like a helpless child during the whole movie. Most dates and facts presented in the movie do not match with the actual documented facts. The screenplay portrays Gloria as a helpless victim, however based on recorded evidence, she was much more than that (according to the movie, Gloria agreed to finally abandon Sergio after finding out he lied to her about the burial and disposal of the body of her baby; however there is a documented real video interview where Gloria still defends Sergio, even though she already knows how they disposed her baby's body. That interview is simply ridiculous, the 3 (including Mary) portray themselves as victims, cry, demand justice for themselves and pray to God and the saints for mercy). It is very disappointing how a potentially great and raw movie turned into 2 hours of glorifying and sanctifying Gloria Trevi.
