Goes to show you how little audience scores really mean anything. These reviews from the audience is so wack. Julianne Moore delivered so well in this American version of this Chilean movie by the same director and man did she do amazing or what? Yes, she did. It's a cute lovely and feel good movie. You come to this movie for Julianne Moore as Gloria and the whole movie was about her and trying to navigate her life post divorce and trying to find her way and place in this world. Moore gave an all time performance through and through. Music choice was perfect and the emotions. Beautiful.

Even without the original’s momentary accessibility, Julianne Moore expectedly shines, as well John Turturro in problematic gravitas form, in the self-made, visually-translated remake seemingly geared radiative capture than fleshing the story with captivated engagement – unless the thematic lengths are based towards an empathetically reflective demographic. Good performances, ok casting, abysmal script. Could have been much better. It just needed a completely different approach and a better structured script. It was obviously going for a “Lost in translation” kind of vibe but didn’t get anywhere close. Not even remotely.
