Kelsey Wallace Bitch Media A well-paced, interesting hour of television. Jan 8, 2021 Full Review Ed Bark Uncle Barky The Steinem film is consistently interesting while at the same time being deferential to its subject. David D A doc about Gloria Steinem. We could learn a lot from her still. Still completely relevant. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/02/12 Full Review Nicole O Until watching this moving documentary, I am sad to say I did not know much about Gloria Steinem besides Ms. Magazine and a brief, yet very memorable appearance with Jane Fonda on The Colbert Report. What an inspired and inspiring life she has led! Her books will be added to my "to read" list this afternoon. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/03/11 Full Review Benjamin F Pretty much the definitive Gloria Steinem documentary, from her own perspective, and as the title says, in her own words. Not a whole lot to say, but it's just what you'd expect, and it's excellent. Steinem commands your attention and takes you through her whole history as the feminist icon she famously became, as well as her own personal history and its influence on her as an individual. If there's any flaw, it's that it's only just over an hour - with even more elaboration, she could easily have filled even more time, and it would be completely worth it. Definitely worth viewing for any feminist. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/11/11 Full Review Carolyn G Had no idea about the feud with Betty Friedan. Very interesting stuff! Rated 3 out of 5 stars 08/27/11 Full Review Greg R very good documentary tracing the life and impact of Gloria Steinem....she sure suffered though alot of fools and crap....some of the old new commentary is priceless....we've come a long way, baby Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 08/26/11 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
