Richard Propes TheIndependentCritic.com I'm pretty sure that even Grenzfurthner would embrace the idea that his views and his films aren't for everyone. Rated: 3.5/4.0 Sep 9, 2020 Full Review Chloe Walker Film Inquiry There's an off-putting arrogance to the fact that Grenzfurthner, however smart he may be, thinks he has the capacity to explain every major theory that affects our lives today in barely more than an hour and a half. May 30, 2018 Full Review Bradley Gibson Film Threat Johannes Grenzfurthner makes films and has given us 97 head-spinning minutes of core dump rage and frustration that is also entertaining and witty. Peter B Very entertaining, and very informative. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/29/23 Full Review nefasto r I started watching with great interested. I liked the style of this skinny, weird, Michael Moore on crack. Unfortunately didn't last long, too many topics compressed together, and linked by some old german song. After the first half of the movie I was kinda losing myself and I thought that this could have been a interesting web series, probably unwatched by me. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review nilufer e It was actually really fun to watch and I loved the parts I understood however my English wasn't enough to grasp everything he was trying to tell. I do appreciate the creativity and the simpleness. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member A thought-provoking and clever documentary. I really recommend it to anyone interested in contemporary politics. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/16/23 Full Review Audience Member Another feat by director-writer-actor Johannes Grenzfurthner. He pulls off an almost impossible task: being seriously funny while being dead serious. I don't even think this film can be considered a documentary. Nothing is documented, not even re-enacted, and it's also not a mockumentary or docufiction. It uses whimsical narrative and musical elements to explain political theory and philosophy. I think Grenzfurthner created his own little genre. Docufarce? Documentravesty? Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/11/23 Full Review Read all reviews
