Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/12/23 Full Review Audience Member Ce Lenny est un ahurissant mélange d'irresponsabilité et d'amour envers sa progéniture. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/13/23 Full Review Audience Member What can i really say about it! It's a film about a dad who's trying to jungle between work & raising his kids! Alright i'm ok with the concept but this flick looks like it's a documentary about a single dad really struggling with his two boys in N.Y. It's quite a sad film , maybe it's a personal story for the directors, but to me it stayed way out of my understanding as why make a film like this? It's well acted, nicely put togehter, it'ds not boring at all, but in the end you wonder just why? what was the point? what's going on?I guess i'm either too dumb to get this type of arty films or maybe it's just not my cup of tea as i usually love to watch a film and get wcarried away into something special and unfamiliar.... Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/26/23 Full Review Audience Member A well acted film but the pacing of the film and and movement of the story is a little different. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review Audience Member Okay so there's this man who has his kids part time after what seems to be a bad breakup from the kids mom. He's not necessarily a bad dad (at first, that turns when he sedates his kids with drugs so he can go to work but back to that later) but his need to be in the centre of the universe makes him intolerant to me. We get to spend time with these three people as well as dads new gf who reminds me of a runaway teen and might as well be just that. Anywho, oh yes he sedates his kids and they sleep for days. Dad leaves them sleeping, spends the night at his gf and calls in every now and then (he talks to the answeringmachine since his kids are in comas). It's all just a blah movie until... Until a gigant mosquito (!) flies into the picture and drains the father of his blood. If I wasn't sitting in the corner all cornered in (with a man sleeping next to me! that's true - he fell asleep and I would have to if I hadn't stuffed myself with coke and sugar and not been so irritated that the movie started 20 minutes late and I was gonna hurry to catch the next movie at the Sthlm filmfestival) I would have left the theather about now. Instead I had to sit through the dad killing this gigant mosquito, blood everywhere, the man then sorta kidnapping his kids from their school and the movie ending with him going on an airbus with his kids and a fridge on his back. Yes a fridge on his back. If you have any sense you will not see this movie. But if you do, bring bugspray. And spray it all over this sucky movie.
