Nicolas Rapold New York Times "God Bless the Child" poignantly illustrates what busy, tired parents have told bored offspring for years: You have to make your own fun. Aug 6, 2015 Full Review John Fink The Film Stage Captivating even if it somewhat overstays its welcome, God Bless the Child is exhilarating in its minimalism. Audience Member This delicate and touching slice of life is so full of, well, life and weighted observations of what it's like to be young and simply exist in a world filled with so much joy and pleasure and heartbreak and melancholy that cannot yet be understood, but passes through our days nonetheless. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review Audience Member Amazing film! Completely challenged my brain and moved my heart. Can't wait to see what's next from this amazing production team. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/26/23 Full Review Audience Member there are movies that tries very hard to make you feel like you are on a journey together with the character/s and then there are movies such as this that makes you feel like you ARE the character in the story and undeniably feel all the emotions that you would've should've could've felt. it also hurts to know that somewhere in our closer than we think world, that this happens to real children. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/12/23 Full Review Audience Member I am wowed by this film. The amazing direction comes off like reality, allowing the inner characters of each of these 6 children to shine through. Their genuine personalities overpower the sadness of the story, allowing us a sensitive and touching look at the resilience of youth. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/28/23 Full Review Audience Member Very good movie!! A must see for any teenager who thinks they have a rough life! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Very long and boring movie. Big dislike Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/07/23 Full Review Read all reviews
