Zaidokhi M I had the opportunity to screen this documentary for my class "Religion and Electronic Dance Music." The film is a true treasure trove of interviews with the pioneers of techno, the artists in Detroit who paved the way for what is now a global art form and multi-billion dollar industry. The film offers an intimate look at the early development of techno as it grew and developed in local scene in Detroit, then Chicago and eventually spreading overseas to Europe. I hope more people have a chance to watch the film and learn about this seminal, but so often overlooked, heritage. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/03/25 Full Review Read all reviews
