Roger Ebert Chicago Sun-Times Uys's style sheds a sweet and gentle light on this new comedy, which is a sequel to the surprising international success -- and, I think, a better film. Audience Member It’s a sweet, positive comedy for the whole family. All the scenes with animals are masterpieces! Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 09/02/25 Full Review Konstantinos V This was a true comedy masterclass equalling if not even bettering the original in my humble opinion. N!xau's youngest son was adorable and the interplay with his older brother in the memorable adventure they had was a key highlight of this memorable comedy. It had everything ... laughter, wittiness, cultural backdrops and surfaced issues in Africa which we see to this day (ivory trafficking and military coups leading to civil wars). Best of all it brought together seemingly unconnected stories and characters in a very clever way and by the end it all gelled together seemlessly. Nothing was over the top and you didn't want this film to end so endearing were the main protagonists ... and not a dull moment in the whole film. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/04/25 Full Review Ads T Sequel to the offbeat hit Gods Must Be Crazy is better made than the first but plot-wise, seems to have very little to do with it. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 04/14/25 Full Review Howard H Beautiful at times...lovely interpretation of family... Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/07/24 Full Review Audience Member Much better then number one, very very funny, beautiful cinematography, brilliant!
