      Critics Consensus

Look on Gods of Egypt, ye filmgoers, and despair! Nothing beside remains. Round the decay of this colossal wreck, boundless and bare. The lone and level sands stretch far away. (Apologies to Shelley.)

Ellis S Awesome Movie Excellent interpretation of egyptian mythology and stories very well done with alot of emotion and the acting is high quality. I wish I could have seen this in theatre's it is absolutely an excellent film well made and really great graphics. Highly recommend great story. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/15/24 Full Review Stephen R Strangely watchable, such a mix of bad green screen and good CGI, all the characters are likable. A fun mindless bit of entertainment. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/26/24 Full Review Avrge0X Awful just awful. The crime is that I can't unsee this disaster. The story violates all logical thought, and the acting does nothing to save it. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 03/20/24 Full Review Antoine K If you don't mind the liberties taken and acknowledge this not a textbook adaptation, this is a fantastic action flick with a typical hero arch story, lots of creatures, constant entertainment, decent CGI and overall lots of fun. Don't think hard on this one, just enjoy the ride like we used to do in the 90s. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 03/17/24 Full Review alan g Actually a very good movie. Panned by critics because it wasn't diverse enough. Who cares. Faithful to the Egyptian mythology. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/06/24 Full Review Grumbles Just a huge mess of a movie. The director had no idea what he was doing. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 03/01/24 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Sara Michelle Fetters MovieFreak.com While not an outright disaster, this is still as massively perplexing a misfire as any likely to see a release this year. Rated: 1.5/4 Aug 15, 2016 Full Review Tara Brady Irish Times ny picture featuring Geoffrey Rush channelling King Lear as the patriarch god Ra while flying about in a spaceship can't be all bad.
