The survival of mankind hangs in the balance when Set (Gerard Butler), the merciless god of darkness, usurps Egypt's throne and plunges the prosperous empire into chaos and conflict. It is one of those films to sit back and think of nothing. The only reason I watched it was of Gerard Butler, and the only reason I would watch it again. Not the worst movie, but definitely has a lot of room for improvement.

I feel if you like to watch about egyptian gods then this is ok. Consider this is a film where film makers were still learning about cgi, the story was good and acting could have been better but it wasnt rubbish. If youve got time for just chilling out with a few snacks then this is a decent chillout movie.
