Critics Consensus

Look on Gods of Egypt, ye filmgoers, and despair! Nothing beside remains. Round the decay of this colossal wreck, boundless and bare. The lone and level sands stretch far away. (Apologies to Shelley.)

Jonathan O Too much white folks with British and Scottish accidents the story is so silly, the green screen looks horrible and lazy and also this movie feels similar to all bad swords and sandals movie. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 05/25/25 Full Review Iamwhoi M Maybe I'm just not an Egyptian Gods kind of gal. The acting in this movie was pretty bad. Maybe that was due to the clunky dialog. I really like NCW; but he has a habit of picking bad movies. The cgi was okay; but this movie is lacking charisma. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 05/25/25 Full Review Paul S Some of the story was uninteresting and didn't make a lot of sense, but overall, the movie was great. It had great visuals and was action-packed, making up for its poor storytelling. I definitely recommend it for fantasy fans! Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 05/20/25 Full Review Samir H Do you think when the cast signed up for this movie and I do like the cast. They were aware it was going to be awful? Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 05/11/25 Full Review Lucia T I absolutely enjoyed this movie, I can't understand the bad reviews. I enjoyed all the actors, the storyline, the graphics, the action and of course that good and love conquers all. Awesome movie and thank you to the producers and directors and everyone involved for bringing to life entertainment of absolute greatness! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/20/25 Full Review Justyn C Underrated. Fantastic stupid movie for anyone with an Egyptian mythology ear worm. Really great effects work. Wonderful costumes. Grand inspiring sets. Enter without expectations and you'll leave with a lot more to appreciate than you could ever hope to criticize. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/30/25 Full Review Read all reviews
