The survival of mankind hangs in the balance when Set (Gerard Butler), the merciless god of darkness, usurps Egypt's throne and plunges the prosperous empire into chaos and conflict. Maybe I'm just not an Egyptian Gods kind of gal. The acting in this movie was pretty bad. Maybe that was due to the clunky dialog. I really like NCW; but he has a habit of picking bad movies. The cgi was okay; but this movie is lacking charisma.

Some of the story was uninteresting and didn't make a lot of sense, but overall, the movie was great. It had great visuals and was action-packed, making up for its poor storytelling. I definitely recommend it for fantasy fans!

I absolutely enjoyed this movie, I can't understand the bad reviews. I enjoyed all the actors, the storyline, the graphics, the action and of course that good and love conquers all. Awesome movie and thank you to the producers and directors and everyone involved for bringing to life entertainment of absolute greatness!
