The survival of mankind hangs in the balance when Set (Gerard Butler), the merciless god of darkness, usurps Egypt's throne and plunges the prosperous empire into chaos and conflict. Acting wasn't even adequate, while the special effects were weak. The plot could have had potential if the script was written with better quality. Yes, it is whitewashed but in some small defense..If it was made inb Asia, it would have Asian actors. There is so much lacking in the realm of plausability even for a fantasy movie it is laughable. Sad to see overacting by such quality actors, especially Chadwick Boseman. Not even good one-liner quips.
