paul s Amazing documentary on the powerful healing effects of sound, frequency, and vibration. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/12/23 Full Review Audience Member Going Om's most powerful take away is that the film allows one to assess the sound in one's own life and provides insight into how one can change or alter what one hears to improve one's life experience, in relation to sound. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Going Om is an informative and beautifully-produced documentary which digs deep into many aspects of the sounds in our world that I had never taken the time to think about before. After watching this film, I am more aware of the sounds I hear everyday and how they affect me, and am therefore more mindful of my surroundings. I would absolutely recommend this film to anyone interested in sound, music, vibrations, travel, inner peace, wellness or just becoming more present in everyday life. I think just about anyone will learn something new from this film. Wonderful film! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review Audience Member I learned so much from this documentary! After watching "Going Om" it made me realize how hectic my life is! I am now making more of an effort to try to find more peace and calm in my life. Simple things like sitting by the water and listening to the sound of the waves make such a difference to me now. Things I would have never thought of until I watched the " Going Om"! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Great documentary film on ancient as well as the cu ting edge uses of sound, to heal humans, animals, from daily meditation (using "Tibetan singing bowls") to an "aura reading machine," to devices that extend drums and other musical instruments. The film tries to show a diverse set of people all using sound in myriad ways, but all seriously using it to heal or reawaken by penetrating the armor we accumulate in life over years trying to cope with the stresses of daily life. Healing is seen happening in mental health & physical health- from a trumpeter in Rocky mountains, to use of device thar lets plants emit music, to a Sedona healing center, to regular yoga studios, to plain ok'd home relaxation techniques. Science of sound is primsty focus, versus any hidden agendas, refreshingly the film aims only to educate its audience ( alternative healing is a topic that often a viewpoint) and doing so it cleanly navigates the "middle path" ( few doc films accomplish this) that helps keep content more relevant and it is therefore _well_ worth seeing - a few times. I Really loved it!..🙏❤️ Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/05/23 Full Review Audience Member This is a must see, hear and feel documentary about sound and vibration. I met Christina on a trip to Thailand, where we played vibrational sound healing bowls to calm elephants while they were being treated for minor medical procedures. After playing the bowls for a few minutes a baby rolled into a hypnotic sleep then I literally sat under the mom's rear and poured an iodine solution over her infected toes. No sedation was administered! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/19/23 Full Review Read all reviews
