Gold miner Jeff Sellers (Lafe McKee) is swindled out of his gold claim by Kramer (Hooper Atchley), who makes his living off vulnerable miners. Sellers' friend and partner, Jack Tarrant (Jack Hoxie), tries to intervene to save him, but eventually Sellers signs over his deed to Kramer. After Sellers is murdered by Kramer's henchman, Tarrant discovers that Kramer has been killing miners and robbing them on a regular basis. Tarrant hatches a dangerous decoy plan to catch him and his men in the act.
