georgan g 12/03/2021 This silly plot doesn't go anywhere or make any sense. Marlene Dietrich is in brown make-up, as a gypsy, fawns over an American soldier who has no interest in her even touching him. Yet, he ends up going to her at the end. See more 09/11/2014 A really unique film, with a role in which I think Ray Milland is one of the few actors that could have pulled it off. The on-screen chemistry between him and Marlene Dietrich is wonderful, and you end up rooting for them all the way.
