Braden L @Braden45 1d This movie is found footage done “mostly” right. The beginning is slow and the kids can be annoying, but it is a slow burner with the tension beginning to build. After the wall-arm scene the movie then kicks into overdrive giving effective, confusing, and truly horrifying scenes that makes you a bit confused. Overall if you enjoy found footage then this is a movie for you. A lot could have been trimmed down but it’s solid. I've been watching a lot of these types of movies and almost all of them range from awful to mediocre, almost all clearly look and feel cheap, horrible acting, cheap jump scares that aren't scary. This is the first time in years that I actually feel the hair on my arms standing straight up. Amazing use of silence, darkness, proper pacing, clever use of go-pros to interchange reaction shots with the scary video footage. Seriously thrilled how good this was.
