The lasting memory of this film is pretty much this: Ellen DeGeneres's attempt at drama, plugged into a morosely cynical and unpleasant story centering around seemingly Happy-go-lucky realtor(Patricia Arquette) who has no qualms with multiple affairs and quite possibly murder. Perhaps this is merely my own tastes showing up here, but any film whose only real message(and also is the entire meat of the movie's humor) is basically "Don't trust anyone" is VERY difficult to like, either on a critical or emotional level.

I liked this movie. It had people who were so distinctively up tp no good. Patricia Arquette looked great while Ellen Degeneres looked lousy.

Would have given 3 stars, but there were few roles, which seemed to be pure jokes - like Ellen DeGeneres. If some characters are believable and some not, it makes the movie really confused.
