Bruce McCabe Boston Globe It confuses vulgarity with humor, a problem of epidemic proportions these days. Apr 28, 2018 Full Review Matt Brunson Creative Loafing Witless and puerile on every conceivable level, this offered early roles to Dennis Quaid (terrible), Fran Drescher (passable) and Rosanna Arquette (negligible). Rated: 1/4 Feb 20, 2016 Full Review Mark Pfeiffer Reel Times: Reflections on Cinema The raunchy camp comedy Gorp, the last film released by American International Pictures, features almost all of the ingredients in Samuel Z. Arkoff's formula but is empty in cinematic nutritional value. Rated: F Jun 10, 2012 Full Review Read all reviews

Steve D could have been fun if there was a single laugh to be had. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 08/17/23 Full Review Audience Member This is one of those 1980's movies that is incredibly raunchy and stupid. So stupid that it is funny. Take it with a grain of salt, get liquored up and watch for fun. Don't take this movie seriously - at all! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/12/23 Full Review Audience Member I remember watching this in junior high. Years later, I found it on VHS. FINALLY - after all these years, it is coming out on DVD and BluRay. It is a raunchy comedy that existed before Porky's or any of the other raunchy comedies to follow. It has almost no story line. It is just silly and stupid, but it is funny. Don't take this movie seriously. It wasn't meant to be. It is neat to see of the of the cast who went on later to bigger and better roles, but we all have to start somewhere, right? GORP - a 1980's classic in its own way. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/15/23 Full Review Audience Member It's no MEATBALLS, but worth a look for very early Dennis Quaid, Fran Drescher, and Rosanna Arquette. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Audience Member 78% Welcome to Camp Oskemo! Where mayham and madness rule supreme! Unfortunitly, some of the jokes become heinous as unresponsible filmmakers try and make light of poisoning and drug induced rape. It's one half ANIMAL HOUSE, a quarter of MEATBALLS, and a quarter of PORKY'S. Watch for the girl who almost gets killed, by being run over by a tank. Moral of story: Fuck the man! Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/17/23 Full Review Audience Member (** 1/2): I'm not going to lie; I had fun with this one. But, I still can't quite recommend it. If you love those cheesy 80's camp/sex comedies, you should probably check this out. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/18/23 Full Review Read all reviews
