Victor P A preposterous supernatural horror thriller. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/20/24 Full Review Satin B I fell asleep watching it 😴 Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 12/21/23 Full Review Holly Really enjoyed this movie! X Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 06/28/23 Full Review edward h After all the negativity, I was very reluctant to watch Gothika. Was I glad I watched it, finally? 'Glad' is an understatement!! This thriller was like WOW!!! Engrossing, intriguing and suspenseful all the way. Scary too. Great, great ending...what a plot!!! Preposterous? Not at all. Hats off to those who penned the script. Gothika had all the ingredients of a top thriller. Highly recommended. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/17/23 Full Review stev c Awesome plot full of fun twists and turns that keep you on the edge of your seat the whole way through! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/01/23 Full Review Audience Member I thought this film was definitely not bad, I thought it was one of her good performances, that I actually enjoyed watching, I remember the movie case, being funny, because it opened different than most movie cases back then. But at the end of the day I didn't think this was a bad film at all. I thought it was worth watching and I definitely recommend giving it a try. Because it's not a bad movie, it's just very slow paced, but once it starts to pick up it actually doesn't stay slow for a long time. Antonia Quirke London Evening Standard The most interesting thing about this clunky, foolish horror flick -- in which everybody but the audience is constantly caught off-guard -- is Berry's scrappy wig. Feb 4, 2024 Full Review Mark H. Harris Black Horror Movies There's nothing particularly original, gory or scary about Gothika - a really weak "R" rating - but it's more or less competent.
