Simon Foster Screen-Space A frantic journey from a point of desperate realisation to the emergence of a stronger self is how many addicts would categorise their trajectory to sobriety. Director Rory Karpf...has structured a terrific slow-burn thriller based on that very premise. Rated: 3.5/5 Apr 2, 2025 Full Review Debbie Lynn Elias Behind The Lens A wonderful surprise! A smart and smartly written script...celebrates the twists and turns and traumas of life with poignant thoughtfulness. Mar 23, 2025 Full Review Shikhar Verma High on Films “Grace Point” is a run-of-the-mill thriller that only works as an allegory for addiction.  Rated: 2.5/5 Feb 28, 2025 Full Review Lisa Johnson Mandell AtHomeInHollywood.com The film’s real strength lies in how it weaves its themes of addiction and family trauma into a taut thriller without feeling preachy. And just when you think you’ve got it figured out, you're thrown a curveball that would make M. Night Shyamalan envious. Feb 17, 2025 Full Review Kent Hill Film Threat Grace Point is a movie that begins predictably but soon shifts up a gear or two until it hits cruising speed. Big G holy cow, what an awful film. based on the other reviews, i thought i had stumbled upon a gem, but this movie is like a horrible 'lifetime' channel thriller. you will easily guess the ending "twist" in the first ten minutes. haven't seen a movie that bad in a long time. don't believe the other, clearly paid-for, reviews. the lead character is a terrible actor (the others aren't much better), the dialogue is far-fetched and cheesy, the storyline makes zero sense, and the cinematography is trash. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 04/18/25 Full Review Jeffrey C Graceful, gritty, and gorgeous — an indie gem with real soul. Grace Point is the kind of film that sneaks up on you — emotionally rich, visually stunning, and anchored in real, human stakes. Director Rory Karpf does an incredible job balancing intensity and vulnerability. He trusts the story and the characters enough to let quiet moments speak loud, and the result is something that feels deeply personal and universally resonant. The cinematography by Al Francesco is next-level. Every frame feels intentional — from the stark beauty of rural isolation to the intimate close-ups that really let you feel the weight these characters are carrying. It’s not just a good-looking film — it’s a film where the visuals are doing narrative work. And huge props to Corey Frost on the edit — the pacing is tight, the tension builds naturally, and the emotional beats land exactly where they need to. It’s one of those rare indie thrillers that doesn’t rush or drag — it just flows, scene to scene, with total confidence. Bottom line: Grace Point is a must-watch. Gritty but heartfelt. Stylish but never showy. Just a damn good movie, made by filmmakers who clearly know exactly what they’re doing Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/09/25 Full Review Asher D Great movie to keep you in suspense with a good plot and a twist. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/11/25 Full Review Joe G This movie is terrible. The climax was evident at the 30 minute mark. The dialogue was one cliche after another. The chase scenes were lame and the relationship Brandon and Sophie was absurd. This is my first time to comment on a movie review but this piece of garbage is so bad I felt like I have to warn others not to be duped by a 7.1 rating for a movie that totally sucks Rated 1 out of 5 stars 03/09/25 Full Review Phoung M Grace Point is a suspenseful and engaging film that keeps you hooked from the start to end. With powerful performances, gripping tension, and stunning cinematography, it delivers an unforgettable experience. A must-watch for anyone who loves thought-provoking, emotionally charged storytelling. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/01/25 Full Review Ronda R This film brings you to the edge of your seat within minutes and keeps you there with several unexpected twists and a perfect ending. Sean Carrigan gives a great performance showcasing his ability to move from one end of the spectrum to another within his role. Jim Parrack delivers again and newcomer, John Owen Lowe, shows such talent in portraying the struggles of addiction. A must watch! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/27/25 Full Review Read all reviews
