Brian Eggert Deep Focus Review As if marketing tie-ins ranging from action figures to Ryan Reynolds’ face on countless junk food items weren’t enough, Warner extends their promotions into the home video market with the latest from their Warner Premiere offshoot. Rated: 2/4 Mar 11, 2023 Full Review Felix Vasquez Jr. Cinema Crazed One thing is for sure, with Marvel dominating the cinemas, it's a surefire bet DC has them on the ropes when it comes to animated fare, and that counts for something. Sep 6, 2012 Full Review Jeffrey M. Anderson Common Sense Media Eventually, the stories begin to rely on simple, clever solutions rather than violent ones. Rated: 3/5 Jun 10, 2011 Full Review Mike McGranaghan Aisle Seat Doesn't have a unified plot, but tells a handful of mini-stories very well. Rated: 3/4 Jun 6, 2011 Full Review Peter Canavese Groucho Reviews The cosmic equivalent of hearing a Homeric epic in ancient times: we thrill to the battles, we wait with bated breath for the appearance of our favorite characters, and we root for noble, righteous warriors. Akash A Rare 5/5 for me. The colors in this movie were amazing. It was really vivid and just a joy to see. I wish to find more animated movies with such a broad array of colors and visuals. The plot was, pretty great too, although not one story all the way through, I actually liked the multiple stories. It was engaging, with different storylines, that completed all the way through, and very entertaining. Green Lantern movies always inspire me and motivate me. This is how animated movies should be - showing worlds and planets and flying beings - just everything so otherworldly that it can only be achieved by animation. I'm not sure I've seen a better animated movie yet -- maybe only the 2009 animated Green Lantern movie. Again, a well deserved 5/5 for me! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/25/24 Full Review Jithin K A comprehensive demonstration of why ACAB includes the Green Lanterns Corps. No wonder the most compelling segments were originally written by Alan Moore, as it seems those are the only parts that recognize the irony and absurdity that is the core of the corps. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 03/24/24 Full Review Cask and Crow P Green lantern is a character that has a lot of history, characters and backstory. This anthology of short stories is a great starting point for any new fans and great storytelling for everyone. I highly recommend watching Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/16/24 Full Review matthias s "Green Lantern: Emerald Knights" is an animated film that explores the history and mythology of the Green Lantern Corps. Here's my 3-star movie review of the film: Firstly, the animation in "Green Lantern: Emerald Knights" is stunning. The film features a mix of traditional animation and computer-generated graphics that bring the various alien worlds and characters to life. The action sequences are particularly impressive, with dynamic camera angles and vibrant colors that make the battles between the Green Lanterns and their enemies pop off the screen. Secondly, the storytelling in "Green Lantern: Emerald Knights" is engaging, but it falls short of being truly compelling. The film features six interlocking stories that delve into the backstory of the Green Lantern Corps, but the pacing can be uneven, and some of the tales feel rushed or underdeveloped. Lastly, the voice acting in "Green Lantern: Emerald Knights" is solid, with notable performances from Nathan Fillion as Hal Jordan and Elisabeth Moss as Arisia. However, some of the other actors feel like they are phoning it in, and the dialogue can be a bit stilted at times. "Green Lantern: Emerald Knights" is an enjoyable animated film that offers a fun, action-packed romp through the cosmos. While it falls short of being a must-see classic, it's still worth a watch for fans of the Green Lantern comics or those looking for an entertaining superhero adventure. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 11/09/23 Full Review DJ W It's really interesting and fun to get to explore different members of the Green Lantern Corps, but its not what you think a "movie" would be like. There is no plot, its just a bunch of side stories revolving around the green lantern(s) made into a movie, which is why I give Green Lantern Emerald Knights 3.5 stars. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 08/16/23 Full Review Mario A Incredibly done (but must be the DVD version, without any cuts). Love this movie. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/14/23 Full Review Read all reviews
