The magical collectibles store that Gizmo calls home has just been destroyed, and the tiny monster finds his way into a newly erected skyscraper. Billy Peltzer (Zach Galligan) and his bride-to-be, Kate (Phoebe Cates), who have previously dealt with Gremlins run amok, discover that Gizmo and an impish legion of reptilian pals are inhabiting the downtown building. The couple tries to stop the creatures from escaping into New York City, but this new batch of beasts might be uncontrollable.

This is a great example of a movie that you should watch if you flip by it on cable (do people still have that?). I wouldn’t go out of my way to watch it, but if it is in front of you, you will enjoy it.

Billy starts working for a company that’s experimenting on Gizmo, the Gremlins start eating all the genetics equipment and get different mutations. The Gremlins feel like experiments from Lilo & Stitch with science that only makes sense in the Powerpuff Girls universe. The movie takes a weird intermission, but this was still solid film.
