The magical collectibles store that Gizmo calls home has just been destroyed, and the tiny monster finds his way into a newly erected skyscraper. Billy Peltzer (Zach Galligan) and his bride-to-be, Kate (Phoebe Cates), who have previously dealt with Gremlins run amok, discover that Gizmo and an impish legion of reptilian pals are inhabiting the downtown building. The couple tries to stop the creatures from escaping into New York City, but this new batch of beasts might be uncontrollable.

A fun sequel but what a ridiculous story! The Hulk Hogan cameo was great… and nice to see some original cast. A fun watch if you enjoyed the first movie but the sequel vibes are strong with this one. “Look, let’s get outta here… it smells like burnt meatloaf…” lmfao

I loved EVERYTHING about Gremlins 2. The satire of big business, the in-jokes about the original, the constant throwbacks to classic 1950s B-movies... one of my absolute favorite movies by Joe Dante, which is saying something.

This movie does not deserve the hate it gets. This movie is so much better than the first because it takes everything from the first one and cranks it all up to 11. The Gremlins are crazier, bigger in number, and very creative and it’s so cool that it all mostly takes place in one building Die Hard style. Overall a great watch!
