There aren't many movies I consider perfect... but Groundhog Day definitely makes the exclusive list. It's sad, funny, exhilarating, and the ending is one of those endings that make movies worth watching. It reached the Truman Show's greatness for me, which is saying a lot. I found myself laughing out loud and then the next minute crying (I rarely cry during movies). Every aspect fits perfectly into the movie, and the casting was perfect. The use of music was very clever, and the music itself fit the story perfectly and is quite catchy and fun. Wish I could watch Groundhog Day for the first time all over again.
