A girl hired to capture 2 orphan childhood buddies turned biggest goons of a metro city in 80s where girl gets to fall in love marry n betray in the name of patriotism. Huh full timepass no logic movie.

"Gunday" is one of those rare movies that I am fully aware is pretty trashy, but I couldn't help but be somewhat entertained by it. The movie has enough ludicrous action scenes and fun musical numbers that were admittedly pretty fun. This movie received a lot of backlash for an incorrect portrayal of history, but I didn't personally let this affect me, and I tried to watch it as a movie. As a movie, it is pretty messy at times, as the story has way to much going on and doesn't always make a lot of sense. I also think the actors do as good as they can considering how cheesy the dialogue is. I can't say this is a great movie nor is it art, but if you just want to watch something brainless for a couple hours, I think you can do a lot worse.

A touching bromance about two lifelong friends. Gun day sounds fun. A day of guns, that's gotta be awesome! Well, it's pronounced goon day and it means outlaws. Outlaws starts well with two war orphans doing whatever they can to get food. It eventually gets into the masala requisite: love story and music videos. Colorful, well directed, great slow-mo, and too long. Chopra is gorgeous and dressed less conservatively than in most Bollywood films. C'mon guy, never leave witnesses, you should know that.
