See more 01/28/2021 Character-driven thriller about a group of computer geeks at a dinner party (*SPOILER ALERT*) who learn of an augmented reality app, supposedly among other items in a Wikileaks folder entitled, "Insurance," that allows them see 30 seconds into the future. They learn how to manipulate this app via coding to increase this to, eventually, 12 days. They also ascertain that they can change the values in order to see into the past as well. What they see makes them wish they hadn't looked! It's got twists and kept my interest throughout. It's a French film with English overdubs, so you don't have to read it. Plenty of references to actual events; Wikileaks, Assange, Snowden, ect. and emerging technologies and interesting commentary about the dark side of the internet, social media, and artificial intelligence. I found it fascinating. If you like brainy thrillers, give it a shot! See more Read all reviews
