Because even if crows and cats battling in a dumpster doesn’t appeal to you, there’s still the promise of watching good athletes play a good game — and that’s worth a seat in the bleachers. Go to Full Review

For the uninitiated, you might as well be a cat or a crow watching this: much of it will leave you cold or simply go over your head. Go to Full Review

The animators put their all in adapting a fan-favorite arc and it shines through in every second of the movie. Go to Full Review

It's very much your standard issue "anime sports story," but it delivers on it. If you enjoy volleyball, you will have a lot of fun with it. Go to Full Review

Haikyu!! The Dumpster Battle will make for an entertaining viewing experience for long-time followers of the anime... But if the names Hinata Shoyo and Kageyama Tobio mean nothing to you, you probably can give this a miss. Go to Full Review

rosanao92 Oct 20 This volleyball anime is number one in the sports genre. The animation is beautiful, and they've split the manga's ending into two films, and I can't wait for the final installment! Haikyuu is, if not the best, one of the most beloved anime by fans of all time! See more Kat C Jun 21 give me the whole future arc or i’ll riot See more Jacky G Apr 7 I didn’t care for the rival antagonist character on the opposing team. He strategizes well, but he starts off as someone who doesn’t really get interested in volleyball until he gets involved with the protagonist. It has a little bit of weak writing there. However it’s not too big of an issue. The movie is good. & the antagonist is a friend to the protagonist. With that being said, all works out. They also still friends in the end. Making for a good realistic friendship and friendly rivalry that I wish was more present in sports nowadays.
