Jacob B 05/27/2023 Great animation and dialogue-free storytelling that's both funny and poignantly directed, Hair Love is a great short film that proves that Pixar isn't the only animation studio that knows how to make a great short film. Not to mention, proving to the world that the future was looking bright for Sony Pictures Animation and Into the Spider-Verse wasn't a fluke...even if the film this short was attached to I thought was underwhelming and didn't get why it earned as much praise as it did. That film is The Angry Birds Movie 2 in case you were wondering. Maybe it's because I liked the first film and the sequel was largely made to appeal to detractors whilst also trying to avoid coming off as pandering, IDK. See more Read all reviews
