Johnson F This Patrice Leconte's contemplation on obsession and desire of the titular central character with his coiffeuse wife overwhelms with sublime happiness like hair washing albeit it closes with a sad hint that bliss in possession will not last and remembered joys are never past. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Audience Member I never thought normal life would be so entertaining and pleasing to watch. This movie will make you happy and at the same time it will make you cry. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/05/23 Full Review Audience Member A short little flick about a boy/mans love for a hairdresser. Poetic and pretty, stylich, sweet and charming. The production, the acting and the cinematography is really good, and there is not much wrong with this film. Still it fails to blow me away or getting me super obsessed. It never got that little extra that makes it an unforgettable experience. It feature the hottest hardresser on earth and the really sensual groove is key. Somewhat entertaining, but nothing big. It's minimalistic, weird and easy to like. Dreams and obsession, often the combination, are also themes here. 7.5 out of 10 wool bathing shorts. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/17/23 Full Review Audience Member A bizzarre movie with uncomprehensible paradoxes. But that's what life is about. For a hairdresser's husband, his wife is everything, and that makes her life forever infinite, because her image would stuck in his mind for good. That's Kierkegaard's idea of making the finite to the eternal by receptivity to outsiders Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review Audience Member I don't get the high ratings at all. This movie is dull, dull, dull and the main character is a weird creep. Sure, the girl is beautiful, but some goofy old Arab guy spending an entire movie perving on a cute girl is not very interesting. The ratings on this one are wayyyy lopsided. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Audience Member awfully (bitter)sweet and romantic to the point of it being almost a love fairytale. rather diabetes-inducing, but not in a nauseating way though antoine did come across as an old perv, sorry. would've better savored the beauty of the film more if i was a hopeless romantic.
