Una historia triste y deprimente, pero que cautiva y conmueve al espectador.

Being a beautiful and pleasant experience to eyes and ears, Handia, deserves to be called a DRAMA. I could truly feel the pain and the love that the characters felt. Deserved to be at Goya Awards.

A slow moving but beautiful film, superb landscapes and it seem to me an authentic re-creation of the Basque country in the early half of the 19th century. I loved it.

Between folklore and reality, "Handia" is a visually amazing story of two brothers, and even if at the end I had the feeling that the story was stretch a bit too thin, it did not bore me because of the beauty and poetry in it.
