Gadsby is no everywoman, her worldview is entirely her own. That's why she stands out, at once fiercely and quietly, like a tiny, perfect lion. Go to Full Review

This is an uneasy dance between artist and audience. It's challenging. It is funny, and truly hilarious at times. But it's also going to kick you in the guts when you least expect it Go to Full Review

"Douglas" is a surprisingly slick, joke-dense show, running hot then cold and even chilly, periodically pausing to meditate on its changing temperature. Go to Full Review

From its first moments, Gadsby makes it clear that she’s a comedian who knows enough about the art of stand-up to continuously flip it on its head, again and again. Go to Full Review

Otto M May 20 I watched this immediately after Nanette in the pursuit of not going to bed crying, and it delivered. Douglas may not be for everyone, but Gadsby's style of humor and presentation had me in stitches! See more Jan 22 I honestly don't know how anyone can laugh at this. It's depressing. The jokes make Bob Saget on America's Funniest Home Video's seem funny. This is the kind of humour woke people that want everything they don't agree with cancelled like. Truly awful. See more Katie D @WickedPineapple 08/18/2023 Her story about her teacher and the box/penguin made me laugh so hard I cried the first time I watched it. See more David F 05/18/2023 This funny special has some of the meta scaffolding and trendy postmodernism of ‘Nanette'. It's also really funny. See more Song M 01/10/2023 She needs therapy. Seriously, she needs therapy... The whole show doesn't belong on tv but behind the door of a therapy session. See more Alex M 11/15/2022 Toxic and unfunny. Where were the jokes? Humorless and tasteless. See more Read all reviews
