Namrata Joshi The Hindu If you come laughing out of this one you know there's "padosi mulk ka haath" in it. A good handshake all the way. Dec 16, 2017 Full Review Renuka Vyavahare The Times of India Overall, the family comedy manages to pull the right strings and change the present (if not the history) of Indo-Pak relations for the two hours that it lasts. Buckle up and enjoy the ride, Janaab! Rated: 3.5/5 Dec 16, 2017 Full Review Devesh Sharma Filmfare All-in-all, the film is a genuine attempt at a family entertainer and would surely make you smile throughout. Rated: 3/5 Oct 30, 2017 Full Review Shilpa Jamkhandikar Reuters Happy Bhag Jayegi is a mildly funny comedy that doesn't try too hard to push the boundaries, but does enough to entertain you. Jun 6, 2017 Full Review Nandini Ramnath Scroll.in The wacky humour is of a piece with the cartoon-strip Lahore setting. Aug 26, 2016 Full Review Sonali Kokra The National (UAE) While Happy Bhag Jayegi is not bad, exactly, it still manages to frustrate with its many, many misses. Audience Member This one is sure to make you smile through and through. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Audience Member The appeal of this Bollywood movie was Pakistan but with the movie mostly shot in Indian studios, there is not much of that. The rest is avoidable including slapstick attempts at humour and extremely weak love story. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/14/23 Full Review Audience Member A treat to watch Piyush Mishra's comic timing with other actors doing well too. Some scenes and dialogue are hilarious. Especially nowadays with mostly double meaning comedies doing round, this one was refreshing. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Audience Member After a fun-filled first half, its is clear that the writer/director ran out of ideas and hence resorts to unnecessary twists and turns just to stretch the run-time. Jimmy Shergill's scenes however are fun to watch. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/14/23 Full Review Ahmed M Happy Bhag Jayegi is a simple comedy, romantic movie. It doesn't have a strong story, and that is expected. In conclusion, only give the movie a watch if you want a simple comedy, romantic movie. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 11/06/16 Full Review Audience Member A complete laugh riot Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/16/23 Full Review Read all reviews
