Uma atmosfera bem construída, direção muito competente e roteiro bem amarrado. O filme é muito bem sucedido no que ele se propõe, causando estranheza, confusão e muitas vezes desconforto, com cortes rápidos e sobrepostos, cenas mais abstratas e interpretativas, além de combates violentos e viscerais. Os subplots tornam a obra ainda mais interessante, e a trilha sonora feita sob medida p a produção é genial, as músicas são excelentes e cada uma encaixa como uma luva no contexto de cada cena.

People hunting people for sport with the added dynamic of withdrawl from alcohol and drugs while being hunted. The biggest fault of this may have been that the biggest plot device, the events in the opening act that linger throughout, were really unnecessary as the story could have progressed and ended in the exact same manner without it.

Is this political and social commentary wrapped up in a weapon wielding hicks killing for fun movie? Blood, gore, sport, good guys, bad guys, drugs, survival. Surprise - no sex! Me and Mr. D, well, we thought it was a fun, fast paced, bloody, good time movie.
