Teenager Bobby (Gary McCleery) makes a fateful decision when he goes out for a drive with his older brothers. After they rob a store and kill a police officer, Bobby is captured and set to be tried as an adult for murder -- even though he claims he had no part in the crime. Social worker Laura (Margaret Klenck) believes Bobby and wants to help. But it becomes clear that the system will show no mercy, and, in order to save his life, Laura makes a fateful decision of her own.
